We are proud to announce that the IML4E (Industrial Machine Learning for Everyone) project, in which Vitarex took part as national coordinator, won the 2025 ITEA Award of Excellence in the Standardisation category.
This is one of the most prestigious distinctions of the ITEA program, awarded to projects that achieve outstanding impact in innovation, business results or standardisation. In the case of IML4E, the international expert jury recognized as an outstanding achievement the work of making the automation of artificial intelligence and machine learning accessible to a wider audience.
The goal of IML4E
For many companies, introducing industrial AI/ML systems is still a costly and complicated process. IML4E changes this by:
- developing standards for machine learning automation,
- simplifying the integration of industrial AI solutions,
- making sure the technology is available to smaller companies as well.
As a result, adopting machine learning is no longer the privilege of large enterprises, but can happen sustainably across a broader range of industries.
The role of Vitarex
As the national coordinator of the project, Vitarex connected the Hungarian partners with the international consortium, supported the technical work and contributed to communicating the project’s results. For us, this award is not only recognition of professional achievement, but also proof that international cooperation and standardisation are key to bringing artificial intelligence into industry.
International cooperation, shared success
In the IML4E project, leading research institutes, industry players and technology companies from several countries worked together so that artificial intelligence and machine learning could truly belong to „everyone”. The result of this joint work is now the 2025 ITEA Award of Excellence, of which all partners can rightfully be proud.
