Stefánia is more than a computer program. 20 years of development have made it efficient. Based on feedback from health visitors (védőnő, the Hungarian community nurses) and school doctors we still keep developing the software to this day.

EESZT data reporting
Stefánia is school health software accredited by EESZT (the Hungarian national electronic health service platform). It not only meets the minimum data reporting obligation set by law, but also gives access to the clients' medical history (Event Catalogue), issued e-prescriptions and more. EESZT data reporting works fully automatically in Stefánia and creates no extra administrative burden!
e-referral
You can create a paper or an electronic referral; the latter is of course submitted to EESZT
Ad hoc care
You can record ad hoc care events for clients and issue a certificate (form) for them; they are also automatically submitted to the EESZT space.
Patient traffic log
Stefánia automatically keeps the patient traffic log of the care recorded in the program, so it creates no additional documentation burden.
PE group classification
You can easily record a PE (physical education) group classification for clients, and generate a list of them.

Data that keeps recurring in the documentation only needs to be typed into the computer once, and the computer can then produce countless master record sheets, supplementary forms and reports from it. No more hours of documentation, and no need to stay late after work.
Fill in examination results with one click
Filling in and printing a school examination or a preliminary or periodic occupational fitness examination takes a few clicks. Automatic percentile calculation and ready-made template texts for positive and negative statuses speed up the daily work enormously. And this is just the tip of the iceberg!
Create reports with one click
Creating school reports and other statements (for example the list of those referred to a specialist examination, or a client's medical history) is child's play. The checking view in the reports lets you verify the calculated data in moments, and previously created reports can be reopened at any time.
Group data entry and editing
For tasks carried out on several people at once, you do not need to document each person one by one. This is a particularly important function in schools, for example when recording the documentation of a vaccination campaign.
Requires minimal computer skills
You do not need to be an IT professional to use the program. Anyone who can manage a word processor or send emails will be able to use Stefánia easily. During development, we give particularly high priority to making the various functions user-friendly and easy to understand.
The familiar forms are in the program
Learning the program and the later documentation is made much easier by the fact that the same familiar documents that everyone has already met on paper can be shown on the screen. The schoolchildren's master record sheet, the employees' health master record sheet, the examination at the age of 16: everything in the familiar form, ready to print at any time.
Fully paperless documentation
Stefánia is suitable not only for keeping the official school doctor documentation. With a scanner or a multifunction printer, you can also store on the computer the test results, discharge reports and any other documents the client brings, attached to the client. No more photocopying, no waste of paper and ink, and no need to keep supplementary documentation in a cabinet next to the computer. Health documents recorded in EESZT can also be viewed at any time, so there is no need to request them on paper.

District, school and mixed catchment areas
The program handles the full documentation of district, school and mixed catchment areas at no extra cost. Client data can be passed freely between them, and the history can be looked up at any time. Sending a child client's data to the school health visitor? No problem! Sending the full documentation of a 17-year-old pregnant client to the district health visitor? That is no problem with Stefánia either.
Document a birth in one minute
Documenting a delivery or birth has never been this simple and accurate. By loading the birth notification, all information about the mother, the child or children and the family is documented automatically.
Automatic work log, both in the district and at school
You do not need to keep a work log separately. Together with the documentation tasks you complete, Stefánia records both the work done and the time spent. Based on this data, accurate reports can be created in moments, both in the district and at school, and earlier activities can be conveniently looked back on for as long as you like.

Data migration from a program you used before
Do you use another program, and already have many years of data on your computer? No problem, we can transfer it into Stefánia, with no need to retype anything!
Companion app for smartphones and tablets
Documenting in the park, basking in the sun? Even that is possible with Stefánia! With our smartphone app, client data can be accessed, edited and recorded at any time, and it is transferred automatically into the Stefánia program running on your computer (as if it had been typed in there). The convenience functions you know from Stefánia are also available on the mobile device.

Time savings with Stefánia
With Stefánia, administration time drops to about half compared with traditional paper-based documentation. In the time freed up, the health visitor can give more attention to other important areas, such as health education, visiting clients or her own further training, which ultimately benefit the whole community.

Using Stefánia achieves a significant cost reduction, because the costs of expensive, hard-to-obtain master record sheets, and of printing and photocopying various forms and reports, disappear.
Other official forms
Keeping and printing the other official forms that come with the work also becomes unnecessary. The computer calculates the reports, and where possible they can be sent electronically, so you do not have to print them.
Printing, photocopying
The modern solutions built into Stefánia let the health visitor store other documentation brought in by clients (for example discharge reports and test results) on the computer using a scanner. This removes the need to keep photocopying such papers, which also saves significant sums every year. Every form that Stefánia can produce can also be made as a PDF, so printing can be skipped where appropriate.
Postage
Because both the client data and all the forms the program can produce are available in electronic form, they can also be forwarded by email. This saves a significant amount of postage, especially in areas where families move regularly.
System requirements
We try to keep Stefánia's system requirements as low as possible, while we keep developing the program and adding modern functions to it.
Support for old machines
Stefánia's minimum hardware and software requirements are as follows:
- Core i3-330M or similar CPU
- 4 GB RAM
- 10 GB of free disk space
- 1366×768 screen resolution
- Windows 8.1
- Windows Update turned on (installing updates continuously is a requirement for every Windows version)
Using Stefánia on older or weaker hardware is not supported, although it may work. For a good user experience, we naturally recommend that, if you can, you get a modern machine to run the program.
Support for new machines
Windows 11, 64-bit? Of course, no problem! Stefánia also works excellently on the most modern desktop versions of Windows.
Smartphone companion app
Our companion app for smartphones and tablets is currently available on Android devices, and it needs Android 2.3 or later. Data is synchronised between the computer and the mobile device over a Wi-Fi connection, so using the companion app requires a wireless connection in the health visitor's office.
Network
Do you have several computers in the office, or are your sites networked? You can use that option with Stefánia too. The machine used as the server can also be a client at the same time (so you can work on it), but a dedicated server (for example a VPS) can also be used for this purpose if the infrastructure is set up properly. A domain environment is no obstacle either, and users can be authenticated against AD (Active Directory), but of course the lack of it is not a problem either.
Backup
The "Adatok mentése" (Save data) utility supplied with the program can make a full backup of the data stored in the program, from which the state of the program at the time of the backup can be restored 100%. The backup can be made to:
- a local drive (for example for syncing to the cloud)
- a USB flash drive
- a network drive
You can schedule and parameterise the backup as you like with Windows Task Scheduler. Every backup has 256-bit encryption, so unauthorised people cannot open or restore it.
Attention!
We ended official support for Windows XP and Windows Vista on 1 October 2017, and for Windows 7 SP1 on 1 February 2022! From then on, supported use of Stefánia requires at least the Windows 8.1 operating system.
